About SAIL

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is a major steel producer in India and one of the "Maharatnas" in the country's Central Public Sector Enterprises. SAIL produces iron and steel with five integrated and three special steel plants located in eastern and central India near domestic raw material sources. It offers a wide range of steel products.

SAIL SeQR TMT Rebars

SAIL has introduced a new TMT bar brand named SAIL SeQR (pronounced SAIL secure), which offers enhanced safety features. The bars boast unique properties of both higher strength and better ductility. Production of SAIL SeQR began on May 1st, 2019, at SAIL's state-of-the-art mill at the IISCO Steel Plant.
