Vikas Ecotech forays into conventional energy segment, expands portfolio
The company has been actively exploring business opportunities in the energy segment, both conventional sources as well as the renewable energy segments, including solar, gas, and hydrogen fuel cells.The supplies will start shortly and the new order would be completed by October 31, 2023.The company is engaged in the business of specialty polymers which find applications in electrical, infrastructure, packaging, and automotive, among others.Besides, it will expand its business portfolio by manufacturing steel pipes and medium-density polyethene (MDPE) pipes.Vikas Ecotech (VEL) has announced its foray into conventional energy segment with a coal supply order it received from cement manufacturer Prism Johnson.

Blackstone in talks with GIC to sell stake in its commercial assets
Likewise, the company signed a JV with Salarpuria Group in 2017, and the projects in Hyderabad which Blackstone has with the Group are Knowledge City, Knowledge Capital, and Knowledge Park.The deal is still in the works and will be contingent on valuations and final pricing.As of now, the company will only sell its stake in some of the projects, and has no plans to leave the JVs.The projects with a leasable area of 26 million sq.Blackstone is in talks with Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC to sell a 50 percent stake in some of its commercial assets it holds with the Panchshil Group in Pune and the Salarpuria Sattva Group in Hyderabad.

NTT to expand its data centre capacity to 348 MW in India
It would also target entities in the cloud service segment in the country.This comes close on the heels of the opening of the company's hyperscale data centre campus in Chennai last month with its first subsea cable system in the country.The Group also plans merging both NTT and NTT Data’s overseas IT operations as this will help in growing its IT offerings in the country, with capabilities-building in analytics, applications and AI and further synergies expected from the merger.India stands as one of the largest employee bases for the company outside of Japan.The merger was announced in October, 2022, with the combined IT services and infrastructure entity NTT Data Inc will be USD 30 billion in revenue terms.

Daimler plans to bring electric buses and hydrogen trucks to India
