Genus Power's subsidiary bags order worth Rs 2,210 crore
This includes the design of the advanced metering infrastructure, supply, installation and commissioning of 21.84-crore order and has received a letter of award (LOA) for the role of advanced metering infrastructure service provider (AMISP).This is the company's second major order, which could also propel business expansion, in the overall context of the shift towards smart meters and a growing industry size.The orders will help to deploy smart metering solutions across Indian households and businesses, resulting in enhanced energy efficiency.Genus Power Infrastructures' subsidiary has bagged a Rs 2,209.

HPL Electric inks pact with WBSEDCL for advanced metering project
The AMI project will be executed in coordination with WBSEDCL.84 crore and will be funded by the World Bank.The project is estimated cost Rs 416.The smart meters will be installed across residential, commercial as well as industrial sectors.The project seeks to strengthen energy productivity and transparency by deploying smart metering solutions across WBSEDCL's operational landscape.

Work underway on Smart City in Visakhapatnam worth Rs 942 cr
76 crore has been spent on the project.The Smart City project is expected to be completed by the latest deadline of June, 2023.The Greater Visakhapatnam Smart City Corporation (GVSCCL) has developed the multi-level car parking and indoor sports arena in MVP Colony at Jagdamba Junction, with a seating capacity of 294, which has basketball, badminton and volleyball courts, and many more.The recreational features such as a food courts, exclusive sports arenas for badminton, children’s play zone, and others are being developed.25 crore under Smart Cities Mission in Visakhapatnam.

RIL to invest Rs 1.5 trn for green energy portfolio expansion
The company plans to initiate the transition from grey to green hydrogen by 2025.Reliance Industries (RIL) is committed to doubling its investment target for green energy to Rs 1.5 trillion, as part of the company’s initiatives to expand its renewable energy portfolio.The additional capacities will be aligned to the company’s broader objectives of enhanced renewable energy usage and operational cost efficiency, along with research-led focus for the new energy business.In 2021, RIL had announced an investment of Rs 75,000 crore to build its new energy business, with the plan to scale up its manufacturing ecosystem, amidst the increasing push for sustainable global practices.

Banana processing cluster to come up in Pulivendula under SFURTI
In addition, the 9.Andhra Pradesh is likely to get a banana processing cluster, which will come up in Pulivendula of YSR district under the Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI) of the Union Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises.The proposed cluster, with an estimated cost of Rs 121 crore, will have the capability to process 1.08 lakh tpa of bananas.22 acres of land in Pulivendula has already been handed over to the AP Food Processing Society, which is the implementing agency, and furthermore, Society for Innovation and Incubation Development (SIID) will provide technical support to this cluster.
